Overview

The core EXAMIND platform for building, delivering, and auto-grading assessments.

The EXAMIND Platform is the core web app for building, delivering, and auto-grading assessments — both quantitative work (calculations, journal entries, Excel models) and qualitative work (essays, case studies, memos) — with academic integrity built in. Use it on its own or integrated with your LMS.

The assessment lifecycle

What you can do with it

  • A question type for every kind of workeight in all: multiple choice and multiple answer, matching, fill-in-the-blank, short answer, journal entries, financial statements, and Excel workbooks — organized in a reusable question bank you can share across courses.

  • A unique assessment for every student — the dynamic question engine generates per-student variants of a question, so no two students see exactly the same exam.

  • Specialized assessment formats — beyond question-based exams and quizzes, build open-response Essay assessments (with an optional AI writing assistant), AI-driven Simulation scenarios, and Excel assessments completed directly in Microsoft Excel.

  • Integrity built in — monitor attempts live with Live View, discourage misconduct with Tactical Deterrents, control offline behavior, and connect your proctoring tool.

  • Grading that mostly does itself — most question types are auto-graded the moment students submit, with analytics, grading adjustments, and student self-review.

  • Standalone or in your LMS — use EXAMIND on its own, or integrate via LTI with Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, or Moodle for roster sync, deep-linking, and grade passback.
